Schmit Dazzles in South Carolina Win
|
South Carolina starter Ange Schmit pitched effectively against the Kansas City Tornadoes at Bomber Ballpark. The left-hander led his team to a 2-0 win. The Tornadoes fall to 9-12 and continue their lackluster start in 2033.
Schmit, a native of Jérémie, Haiti, was dealing all game. He kept Kansas City hitters off-balance, while giving the Bombers 8.1 quality innings. Schmit threw 110 pitches, allowing 4 hits and striking out 8.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Schmit said.
