Aeropostales Rally to Eke Out Win
|
Pramana Djambek was instrumental in his team's 6-5 triumph over the Detroit Death Stars. The third baseman went 3-6 with 3 singles and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI for the Indian Wells Aeropostales. Indian Wells reliever Ron Robinson picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Armando Medina was saddled with the loss. The Death Stars fall to 11-15 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2033 season.
Djambek had a game-changing single in the bottom of the 15th. On a 1-2 cutter from Armando Medina, he banged a 2-run single to right, giving the Aeropostales a 6-5 lead. It was the 29th hit of the year for Djambek.
In postgame comments to the Indian Wells Daily News, Djambek said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
