Getting a good performance from second baseman Jorge Barrera, the Minneapolis Freeze defeated the Coronado Phantoms, 9-4. Barrera was 3 for 3 with 3 singles and a walk for the Freeze. Robin Meggison picked up the save for Minneapolis, his 2nd of the year. The Phantoms fall to 9-16 and continue their uneasy start to the 2033 season.

Early in the game, right fielder Tony Littler had a 2-run single for Minneapolis. It was his 24th hit of the season and put the Freeze on top, 5-3.
