|
Bowling Green starter Luis Rodríguez pitched effectively against the Pasadena Bumblebees at Top of the Hill. The right-hander led his team to a 4-1 win. In 6.1 innings, Rodríguez surrendered 2 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. The Bumblebees fall to 11-13 and continue their uneasy start to the 2033 season.
The Racers got a big at-bat from third baseman António Ayala. For the game, Ayala was 1-4. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 14th hit of the season gave Bowling Green a 2-1 lead.
