The Reno Raiders put together a convincing win at Durham Bulls Athletic Park, defeating the Fairfield Flash, 11-3. Vicente Maldanoda was one of the hitting stars. He went 3 for 5 with 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for Reno. Losses have been few and far between for the Flash so far this season. Their record drops to 17-8.

The Raiders got a big at-bat from catcher Gary Carter. For the game, Carter went 1-5 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Reno a 2-0 lead.
