Victory Over Escape Takes Albuquerque to 15-10
Albuquerque turned a good effort from starter Dino De Buono into a win over the Scranton Escape at Albuquerque Sports Stadium. The final score was 7-2. The winning pitcher was De Buono, now 2-2. He tossed 8 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 7. The Escape fall to 11-13 and continue their uneasy start to the 2033 season.

The Cacti got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Jorge Quintero. For the game, Quintero went 1 for 1 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the seventh, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 2nd double of the season gave Albuquerque a 4-2 lead.

"We take it day by day here," said De Buono, "and today was a good one for us."
