Albuquerque pitcher Dan Thompson did his part in helping his team beat the Scranton Escape, 6-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Hisataro Sato got credit for the save for Albuquerque. It was his 7th of the year. The Escape fall to 11-12 and continue their uneasy start to the 2033 season.

Chris Werner aided the Albuquerque cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the third baseman was 1 for 2 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Werner said.
