The Antioch Coal Miners topped the Minneapolis Freeze, 5-1, in Darryl Kile League action at The Ice Box. The player of the game was Antioch pitcher and Bournemouth, England native Adam Pitkeathy. The Coal Miners, with just their 7th win in 23 games, have played uninspired baseball so far.

Manny Durán, who is rated as the 29th best prospect by BNN, aided the Antioch cause with a solo home run in the top of the fourth. For the game, the right fielder went 1-3 with a home run.
