Racers Solve Canadians, 6-3

Bowling Green and Vancouver took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.
The Bowling Green Racers topped the Vancouver Canadians, 6-3, with center fielder Juan López playing a big role. López went 2-4 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Racers in the win. Harlan Rudy got the win, improving to 2-1. He pitched 7.1 innings, giving up 9 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 0.
López had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 2-2 fastball from Fernando López, he banged a grand slam home run to left, giving the Racers a 6-3 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for López.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said López.
The Canadians fall to 9-12 and continue to sputter in the early going.
