Aeropostales Need Extra Frames to Get Past Banditos
The Indian Wells Aeropostales picked up a win at Stars Field, knocking off the Acapulco Banditos, 5-4. On the mound for Indian Wells was right-hander Wade White, who played a pivotal role in the win. Indian Wells reliever Kevin Spurr picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Curtis Cahill absorbed the loss. The Banditos fall to 9-11 and continue their lackluster start to the 2033 season.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Indian Wells third baseman Pramana Djambek, facing Curtis Cahill, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Aeropostales the 5-4 win.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Djambek, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
