Raptors Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Argonauts
Astoria first baseman Conor Borlase had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 7-5, to Omaha at Anchorage Municipal Stadium. Borlase went 3-4 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Jason Engel recorded the save for Omaha, his 4th of the season. The Argonauts fall to 9-12 and continue their uneven start to the 2033 season.

Had Shaun Sharp not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 3rd, Sharp hit a 2-run home run. That made the score 7-5, in favor of the Raptors.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Sharp told the Omaha Bulletin. "It's as simple as that."
