Acapulco Banditos starter Jon Green was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Indian Wells Aeropostales, 6-0. Green went 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 2 hits, walked 3, and struck out 3. His record improves to 1-1. The Aeropostales fall to 10-10 and continue their uneasy start to the 2033 season.

The Banditos beat the Aeropostales with some clutch hitting. The single by Dave Mitchell in the top of the first is a good example. With two down, Mitchell gave his team the lead, 2-0, when he came through with the big hit.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Mitchell told the Acapulco Daily News.
