Dotson Excels in Albuquerque Win
|
The Albuquerque Cacti knocked off the Silver Lake Baristas, 7-3, at Ashton Gate. Bob Dotson, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Albuquerque won. The second baseman went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Earning his 5th save of the year was Hisataro Sato. The Baristas fall to 5-11 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2033 season.
Damian Ballesteros, who is tied for 7th in the NAL in hits with 21, aided the Albuquerque cause with a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth. For the game, the designated hitter was 3 for 5 with 2 doubles.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Ballesteros said after the game.
