Canadians Drop Another One
|
Stanley Park was the site of a competitive game between the Vancouver Canadians and Fairfield Flash.
Fairfield Flash starter Bi`nh Trieu turned in an exceptional performance against the Vancouver Canadians at Stanley Park, resulting in a Fairfield win, 3-1. In 8 innings, Trieu surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. Benjamin Stevenson finished to wrap up his 4th save.
The Flash benefited from a costly error in the top of the second. With Yoshitake Morita at bat and Fairfield leading 1-0, the Vancouver miscue allowed Fairfield to plate 1 and take the lead, 2-0.
"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Morita.
Fairfield, now 10-6, has played well in the early going.
