Dolinger Helps Cacti Run Win Streak to 4
|
The Albuquerque Cacti defeated the Vancouver Canadians, 10-4, at Albuquerque Sports Stadium. Albuquerque right fielder Joe Dolinger was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 3-4 with 2 doubles. He scored 2 times and drove in 5. James Crowe was the winner. Over 5 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 8 hits, with 4 walks and 3 strikeouts. The Canadians fall to 7-8 and continue their uneasy start to the 2033 season.
Damian Ballesteros, who is tied for 8th in the NAL in total bases with 30, helped out the Albuquerque cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the third baseman was 2-4 with a double, while scoring 2 times.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Ballesteros told the Albuquerque Daily.
