Argonauts Bang Out 8-3 Win Versus Antioch
It was a fun time at Golden Fleece Park, where the Antioch Coal Miners and Astoria Argonauts tangled.

The Astoria Argonauts grabbed a 8-3 win over the Antioch Coal Miners at Golden Fleece Park. Astoria second baseman John Howard went 1 for 2 with a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 to earn player of the game honors. The Coal Miners, now 4-12, continue their sluggish start.

Pablo Sosa had a big 2-run single for the Argonauts in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Astoria leading 4-3 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Matsuyo Koda and stroked the single to center. It was his 15th hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the Argonauts ahead, 6-3.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Tony Allison said.
