The Antioch Coal Miners defeated the Astoria Argonauts, 5-3, in Darryl Kile League action at Golden Fleece Park, with Antioch pitcher Adharma Sughavanam named player of the game. The winning pitcher was Sughavanam, now 1-1. He tossed 7 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 4 and fanning 8. The Coal Miners, now 4-11, have not found much traction so far in 2033.

The Coal Miners got a big at-bat from designated hitter Jim Commo. For the game, Commo was 1-5 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Antioch a 3-0 lead.
