The Minneapolis Freeze saddled the Reno Raiders with a loss at The Ice Box. The final score was 6-4. Bob Nichols, named player of the game, was 3 for 4, including 2 singles and 1 home run. The Minneapolis right fielder scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Minneapolis reliever Mitsuharu Nakashima picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-0. Daladhisvara Harishandra was collared with the loss.
