Susumu Kono added some punch to the Fairfield offense, helping them outmuscle the Silver Lake Baristas, 8-7. In the game, Kono, who is tied for 7th in the NAL in extra base hits with 7, was 4 for 5 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs. Fairfield reliever Saiyid Mashwanis picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-0. Silvino Fagundo was collared with the loss. The Flash raised their record to 9-5.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Fairfield trailing 7-6, Ernie Horswill hit a fastball from Silvino Fagundo to left-center for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Flash had a walk-off win.
