It was a fun time at Hell Stadium, where the Chicago Titans and Scranton Escape tangled.

In a high-scoring game between Scranton and Chicago, designated hitter Jeremy Bassett was a difference-maker. The 21-year-old earned player of the game honors in the 10-8 Scranton win. He went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Javier Colón recorded his 6th save for Scranton.

Had José Tobías not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Tobías hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 8-7, in favor of the Escape.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Bassett. "And not try to do too much."

The win gives the Escape a record of 7-6.
