Racers Need Extras to Top Escape
|
José Tobías had a good game, but he could not keep the Scranton Escape from falling, 6-4, to the Bowling Green Racers at Hell Stadium. The Scranton left fielder was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times in the loss. Bowling Green reliever Sung-hwan Park picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Le-song Kao was saddled with the loss. The Racers, now 8-3, have hit the ground running this season.
Juan López swatted a 2-run home run for Bowling Green in the top of the 11th. The center fielder went 2 for 5 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and batted in 3.
