Banditos Jolt Titans with Late Rally
|
The Acapulco Banditos downed the Chicago Titans, 6-3, at The War Dome. Rhett Cawse led the way, going 1-for-2 for Acapulco. Acapulco reliever Khalid Legras was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Lou Cove took the loss. Curtis Cahill closed the game out for Acapulco, earning his 2nd save.
Cawse had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 3rd in the top of the seventh inning, when he drew a walk. The Banditos went on to win.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Cawse.
Acapulco, now 3-6, is off to a slow start.
