Baristas Get Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
|
The Silver Lake Baristas downed the Scranton Escape, 9-3, at Ashton Gate. Sean Mizuno led the way, going 3-for-5 for Silver Lake. The Baristas, with only their 2nd win in 8 games, have not had much to write home about in 2033.
The Baristas got a big at-bat from left fielder Paul Harris. For the game, Harris went 1 for 3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Silver Lake a 3-2 lead.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Mizuno.
