Aeropostales Clip Paczkis in Tight Contest
|
The Indian Wells Aeropostales picked up a win at Stars Field, knocking off the Canton Paczkis, 5-4. Starting pitcher Wade White was an essential part of his team's success. Indian Wells reliever Kevin Spurr picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-0. Nobuatsu Samurakami was collared with the loss. Indian Wells is off to a hot start at 6-2.
Pramana Djambek was the walk-off hero for Indian Wells. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Aeropostales pinch hitter hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," White said in his postgame press conference.
