Banditos Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
|
Acapulco right-hander Jason Walker pitched his team to victory over the Silver Lake Baristas at Underdogs Ballpark. The final score was 7-4. In 6.1 innings, Walker surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 2. He allowed no runs. Acapulco, now 2-3, is off to a slow start.
The Banditos got a big at-bat from catcher Shane Measures. For the game, Measures went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Acapulco a 2-0 lead.
