South Carolina Bats Go Silent in 1-0 Loss
|
The 2033 season began for the South Carolina Bombers with a loss to the Bloomington Blazers at Bomber Ballpark. The final score was 1-0. Bloomington pitcher Oliver Romero earned top player honors.
The Blazers got a big at-bat from left fielder Sean Clark. For the game, Clark went 2 for 4 with 2 singles. In the top of the fourth, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 2nd hit of the season gave Bloomington a 1-0 lead.
"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Randy Huggett.
