Conditions were not ideal but Indian Wells and Albuquerque were able to put their game in the books.

The Indian Wells Aeropostales defeated the Albuquerque Cacti, 15-7, at Albuquerque Sports Stadium. Indian Wells left fielder Orlando González was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 3-3 with 3 doubles and 3 walks, while scoring 3 times. The Aeropostales raised their record to 2-1.

The most important at-bat for Indian Wells came in the top of the ninth inning. With one out, Pat Pittman reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run, putting Indian Wells up, 8-7.

"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," González told the Indian Wells Daily News.
