Paczkis Drop Phantoms with Late Score

The Canton Paczkis reigned over the Coronado Phantoms in damp conditions at Phantoms Field.
The Canton Paczkis dealt the Coronado Phantoms a 6-5 loss at Phantoms Field. Ty Bedford was the star on offense. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Canton reliever Nobuatsu Samurakami picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Taylor Longbottom absorbed the loss. P.J. Ross earned his 1st save in 1 tries.
A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and two out in the top of the eighth inning. That's when left fielder Louis Haydock got hit by a pitch. The Paczkis went on to win.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Bedford.
The Paczkis, now 2-0, have been on a roll in the early going.
