Flash Rough Up Titans, Take 15-2 Win
|
The Fairfield Flash dealt the Chicago Titans a 15-2 loss at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Juan Carlos Cruz was the star on offense. He went 2-4 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times and driving in 6. Fairfield is now 1-1.
Cruz contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Fairfield in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 1-0, Cruz took a sinker from Ayan Osewe and stroked the home run to right-center. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Flash to leap in front, 4-1.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Cruz.
