Indian Wells right fielder Pat Pittman had a big day at Albuquerque Sports Stadium today against the Albuquerque Cacti. The 32-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led the Aeropostales to a 9-5 triumph over Albuquerque.

"Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Pittman said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all."

Pat Pittman singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 8th and walked in the 9th.
