Blazers Take Nail-Biter Over Pioneers
The Bloomington Blazers defeated the Vancouver Pioneers, 6-4, in Thurman Munson League action at Arson Arena, with Bloomington pitcher Ronaldo Pérez named player of the game. The win was Joseph Kelley's in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Jose Munoz took the loss for Vancouver. The Blazers bumped their record to 101-61 with this latest triumph.

Sean Clark swatted a 2-run home run for Bloomington in the bottom of the 12th. The left fielder went 2 for 5 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and batted in 3.

In postgame comments, Pérez said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."
