Baba Hits 2 home runs in Beavers Win
|
The Portland Beavers defeated the Rubber City Rhinos, 6-1. Earning player of the game honors was left fielder Motoyasu Baba, who slugged 2 home runs. He scored 4 runs and drove in 2. Felipe De La Hoya, credited with the win, is now 10-14. He allowed 1 run on 7 hits in 8 innings. Portland is now 78-83.
Baba hit 2 home runs. He scored 4 runs and drove in 2 against the Rhinos. In the top of the first inning, he reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run that scored 1 and put Portland in front, 1-0.
