Tornadoes Come Up Short at Eureka
The Hornets faced a stiff challenge from Kansas City pitcher Dennis Gates, but persevered to claim a win at The Nest. The final score was 2-1. Gates went 8 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. "I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said McDonald.
