Jean-Claude Petit added some punch to the South Carolina offense, helping them outmuscle the Eureka Hornets, 11-9. In the game, Petit, who is a five-time All-Star, was 2-3 with a home run and 3 walks, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Earning his 4th save of the year was Christian Wallace. South Carolina, now 9-5, has gotten their season off to a good start.
