Cabo San Lucas Toreros starter Masazumi Ohayashi was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Vancouver Pioneers, 9-1. Cabo San Lucas is now 63-96, while Vancouver is 65-94.

Cabo San Lucas used the timely hitting of Kajal Ghandi to capture the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Toreros on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.

"We maximized our offense today," said Cabo San Lucas skipper Matt Johnson. "That makes everyone's life easier."
