Two elite teams met in a late-season showdown at Legends Park.

The Bloomington Blazers grabbed a 12-8 win over the Maple Marauders at Legends Park. Bloomington left fielder Sean Clark went 3 for 4 with a home run, a triple, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 3 to earn player of the game honors. John Now, credited with the save, is now 1 for 1 in save opportunities.

Yeijiro Sato aided the Bloomington cause with a 3-run home run in the top of the first. For the game, the catcher was 1 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Bloomington manager Javier Ramírez.
