Toreros Rally to Eke Out Win
The Cabo San Lucas Toreros eked out a 4-3 win versus the Vancouver Pioneers at "The Fort" at B.C. Place. Nobody did more than pitcher Ashley Heath, who captured player of the game honors. Cabo San Lucas reliever Tomio Nakahara was the winner. His record is now 5-2. Jose Munoz took the loss. Cabo San Lucas is 5th in the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division with a record of 62-96.

The Toreros got a big at-bat from first baseman George Guinn. For the game, Guinn went 2-5 with a double and a walk. In the top of the 12th, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 145th hit of the season gave Cabo San Lucas a 4-3 lead.

"I play this game for myself and my family, but of course it's always nice when we can win," said Guinn.
