Extra-Inning Win by Beavers over Texans
The Portland Beavers topped the Dallas Texans, 6-5, in Roberto Clemente League action at Waterfront Park. The player of the game was Portland pitcher Hajime Ota. Portland reliever Juan Quezada picked up the win to move to 4-1. Ashoka Pancholi suffered the loss. The slumping Texans have dropped 7 in a row.

Portland won the game in the bottom of the 12th inning. With one out and Ashoka Pancholi on the mound for Dallas, third baseman Luke Riviere hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Beavers fans to their feet.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Riviere told the Portland Gazette.
