Texans Lose Again, 7-3, to Rhinos
|
The Rubber City Rhinos beat the Dallas Texans, 7-3, at Metroplex Park. Rubber City catcher Pete Bell earned player of the game honors. He collected 2 singles and 1 double, while driving in 2 runs. Rubber City reliever John Cosman was the winner. His record is now 3-1. Dan Edwards took the loss. Rubber City has 4 straight wins, Dallas 6 straight losses.
Mike Davis was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI for Rubber City. The 31-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the second. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring walk off Dan Edwards. It was his 23rd walk of the season.
