Pioneers Drop Earthquakes with Late Score
The Vancouver Pioneers topped the San Francisco Earthquakes, 6-4, with right fielder Hiroya Shimada playing a big role. Shimada went 2 for 3 with 2 singles. He scored 2 runs for the Pioneers in the win. Vancouver has now won 4 straight.
