Victory Over Bombers Takes Bloomington to 96-59
|
It was a fun time at Arson Arena, where the South Carolina Bombers and Bloomington Blazers tangled.
The Bloomington Blazers relied on the hitting of catcher Yeijiro Sato to stop the South Carolina Bombers, 4-1. For the game, Sato was 2 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Greg Rojas got credit for the win, improving to 3-1. He allowed 1 run on 5 hits in 5 innings.
Early in the game, Sato had a 2-run home run for Bloomington. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Blazers on top, 2-0.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Sato said.
The Blazers have an impressive 96-59 record.
