Conditions were not ideal but Quebec and Cabo San Lucas were able to put their game in the books.

The Quebec Armada went home winners at Lucky 7 Ballpark, thanks in large part to starter Eduardo Marino. Marino silenced the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, enabling Quebec to grab the 7-0 win. Marino got the win, improving to 2-1. He allowed 3 hits and walked 0 over 7 innings. Marino allowed no earned runs.

Kichisaburo Tanaka, who is tied for 10th in the TML with a .638 slugging percentage, aided the Quebec cause with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the first. For the game, the right fielder went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Marino told reporters after the game.

The Toreros, at 3-12, have stumbled out of the gate.
