Marauders Come Back Late to Top Earthquakes
|
Maple Marauders starter Ze-dong Zhang pitched a strong game against the San Francisco Earthquakes at Golden Gate Park, leading the Marauders to a 5-1 win. San Francisco now has a 13-game losing streak.
Ángel Vázquez made it 2-1, Maple, in the top of the eighth when he hit a sacrifice fly. It was a big at-bat in the Marauders win.
"We take it day by day here," said Zhang, "and today was a good one for us."
