Blue Ivy Stadium was the site of a remarkable pitchers' duel.
Jacksonville right-hander Jin-oh Pak was in fine form, shutting out the Brooklyn Black Knights, 1-0. Kichibei Endo converted his 25th save in 31 tries.
The Jacks got a big at-bat from catcher Stanley Comiskey. For the game, Comiskey went 2-4 with a double. In the top of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 25th double of the season gave Jacksonville a 1-0 lead.
"I found a nice groove out there," said Pak.
Jacksonville occupies 4th place in the Roberto Clemente League William Atteberry Division at 68-85.
