Fans who came to Debris Field watched the Mile High Mustangs and the Kansas City Tornadoes fight to the finish.

Héctor Lara made an impact in the 6-5 Mile High win over Kansas City. Lara, who is tied for 9th in the TML in RBI with 100, went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The Mustangs bumped their record to 88-63 with this latest triumph.

The contest featured some late-game dramatics from Mile High center fielder Héctor Lara. In the top of the tenth inning, with one out and a runner on 1st, Lara drew a walk to help Mile High seize the win.

"We take it day by day here," said Lara, "and today was a good one for us."
