Multi-HR Game for Bush in 10-4 Win
|
The Kansas City Tornadoes and Mile High Mustangs completed their game despite the inclement weather.
Kansas City second baseman Ken Bush had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Mile High Mustangs, 10-4. Gerard Kotas got the win, improving to 8-14. He worked 6.1 innings, giving up 4 runs on 8 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 2.
The Tornadoes got a big at-bat from shortstop António González. For the game, González was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Kansas City a 4-2 lead.
"We'll savor this win," González told the Kansas City Herald, "then get ready for the next game."
Kansas City bumps their record to 56-97 with the win.
