Maple starter Héctor Zúñiga pitched effectively against the San Francisco Earthquakes at Golden Gate Park. The right-hander led his team to a 3-0 win. Hariz Sahir was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 19 of 21 save opportunities. Maple is now riding a 3-game win streak.

The Marauders got a big at-bat from designated hitter Ángel Vázquez. For the game, Vázquez was 1 for 4. In the top of the eighth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 41st hit of the season gave Maple a 1-0 lead.
