Hoskins Lifts Mafia to 7-2 Triumph
A 4-RBI performance from Lewis Hoskins helped the New York Mafia beat the Portland Beavers, 7-2. Lorenzo Soto picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-2. He struck out 5 in 7.2 innings. New York is off to a sluggish start, getting just their 5th win in 17 games.

Hoskins had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the sixth inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Mafia went on to win.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Hoskins told reporters after the game.
