The Rubber City Rhinos picked up a win at The Rubber Grounds, knocking off the Portland Beavers, 4-3. Starting pitcher Bob Ruíz was an essential part of his team's success. The Rhinos raised their record to 12-3.

Raul Hernandes aided the Rubber City cause with a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the left fielder went 1-3 with a home run and a walk.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Ruíz.
