Black Knights Lose to Rhinos, 7-4
|
Brooklyn got a terrific game from designated hitter Ze-min Shuo. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Rubber City, 7-4. Shuo was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He was 3-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Shinzo Sasaki earned his 48th save in 56 chances. The Rhinos own a robust 94-53 mark.
Avatsara Sangameswar, who is tied for 8th in the RCL in bases on balls with 73, chipped in for Rubber City with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the first. For the game, the third baseman had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Sangameswar said after the game.
